Stella Artois - Cinematique

In 2014 Stella Artois continued to lead the way in sales, yet tracking showed a rather stylish premium Italian beer was leaving Stella Artois behind. We needed to regain Stella Artois’s status as the UK’s premium beer brand in 2015.

The breakthrough came data showed that people who still associated Stella Artois with film, also perceived the brand as more premium. We needed to help the brand reclaim its rightful place within film. Our vision was to recreate one of the defining moments of the cinema experience the trailer reel but in the home.

And so, Stella Artois Cinematique was born. Cinematique is a unique partnership with Channel 4 where a host of upcoming premium film trailers play before the channel’s 9pm Saturday night film. Stella Artois own the break, which begins with an introduction to the film and offers viewers the chance to win tickets to London film premieres by tweeting a review using StellaArtois4Cinema.

Cinematique launched in April 2015 with the network premiere of Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2, reaching 1.5 million.
