Monday 5 September, 2016: Dentsu Aegis Network today announces the appointment of Stefan Bardega as UK CEO of iProspect.
Bardega joins iProspect at a time when the performance marketing agency is enjoying significant commercial growth, rapid business expansion, widespread industry recognition whilst maintaining an impressive roster of clients including British Airways, Sky, Diageo, British Gas and Kellogg's. Bardega will report to Tracy De Groose, CEO of Dentsu Aegis Network UK & Ireland, and will work closely with iProspect’s existing leadership team to deliver the agency’s growth ambitions and maintain its leadership position in the market.
In addition to his iProspect responsibilities, Bardega will also have group-wide accountability for accelerating digital capabilities and growth across the UK.
Bardega joins from ZenithOptimedia where he most recently served as Global Chief Digital Officer overseeing the output of their 2,500 digital specialists in 75 countries. He was also responsible for re-engineering the global programmatic offering, building a digital transformation strategy operation and designing some of the world’s most advanced digital performance marketing products.
He brings an impressive blend of digital expertise, analytical and strategic leadership and a strong track record of building and transforming businesses. Bardega’s career began in 1996 working in quantitative research for Carlton Television. He then went on to hold a number of senior digital management roles at Outrider and MediaCom, before joining ZenithOptimedia in 2014.

News of Bardega’s appointment follows Chris Whitelaw’s promotion to iProspect’s EMEA President and Global Commercial Director at the beginning of this year.
